JG - James Gibson, interviewee [with Wilma (WM) Morrison present] / LR - Lyn Royce, interviewer

JG: Then there was a real man, Lawrence [James' younger brother]. He used to wear my father's clothes to the dances and my father never tripped... and he was a meticulous man. If there was anything on his suit... and he had them suits from the 20's and all that ya know... oh man! - jazzy stuff! But they were real, like, wool, or nothin'... No polyester, nothin'.

WM: But they dressed then...

JG: I know! [overlapping each other]

WM: ...all of the men dressed with hats and...

JG: ...yeah; and they had with the...

WM ... overcoats and...

JG: ...hat and the tie with the...[slapping chest (lapel microphone)]... thing in the...

WM: ...stickpin...

JG: ...stickpin 'n the cuffs. Those guys were... 'on the scene!'

WM: hmhm... didn't have any money, but they were dressed!

JG: I don't know where they got their money from, I really don't.
