Very warm day.Tuesday 9th Hauled load to the lake for Holland. Very warm day.Wednesday 10th Hauled load of freight to Summit Lake. Holland's survey party arrived from up river. Fine day.Thursday 11th Hauled load of freight to Summit Lake for Hudson's Bay Company. Fine day.Friday 12th Hauled load to the Lake for Hudson's Bay Company. Fine day.Saturday 13th Hauled load to Summit Lake. Fine day.Sunday 14th Was sick all day with cholrea, diarhoea [sic], jim fizzes and back to work trots and then some. Monday 15th Sick in bed all day. Feel better tonight. Got a bottle of Wild Strawberry from old man Hedstrom. Fine cool day.Tuesday 16th Feel some better tonight. Emmit took load to the lake. George Williams went down river. Fine cool day.Wednesday 17th Filed 2 saws. McLeod Siwashes arrived from Summit Lake. Will return tomorrow with freight. Emmit took wagon load to lake. Fine day.Thursday 18th Took load of Hudson's Bay freight to Summit Lake. Fine day.Friday 19th I hauled a load of freight to the lake for A. Holland. Fine windy day. Forest fire raging.Saturday 20th Hauled load of freight to the lake for A. Holland. Petery's outfit arrived from Ft. George. Fine day.Sunday 21st Fixed fence and wagon box. Rained heavy in afternoon and raining tonight.Monday 22nd Framed rafters for warehouse. Emmit took canoe to the lake for Petery, Carson and Watson. Very wet day.Tuesday 23rd Hauled load to lake for Petery and Holland. Pettery and party started down Crooked River. Fine cool day.Wednesday 24th Hauled load to the lake for Holland and Hudson's Bay. Fine day.Thursday 25th Hauled shakes for warehouse. Correal's canoe arrived from up river. Fine day.Friday 26th Worked building warehouse. Cruiser Right arrived from Burden's camp. Fine day.Saturday 27th Worked shingling warehouse. Right and partner returned to there camp. Wet day.Sunday 28th Stayed at home and done washing and other odd jobs. Shot 6 grouse. Wet day.Monday 29thWorked shingling warehouse. Very wet day. Got wet through and quit about 5 o'clock.Tuesday 30th Stayed indoors all day and sighted rifle for Ivey Dick Indian. Very wet day.Wednesday 31st Hauled boat and outfit to Summit Lake for 2 English tourists. Fine day. Camped at Summit Lake.September, 1910Thursday 1 Return home and hauled hay in afternoon and launched large boat to take hay from upriver. Fine day.Friday 2nd Worked at bridge across gulch. Some showers of rain.Saturday 3rd Hauled dirt on road to Deepwater Landing. Steamer Chilco arrived from Ft. George.Sunday 4th Hauled load of freight to Summit Lake for Johnson and party en-route to Peace River. Wet day.Monday 5th Hauled freight to Summit Lake for Johnson and party. Wet cold day. Sent 3 cheques to N. C. Bank #213 Tuesday 6th Hauled freight for Hudsons Bay. Cool fine day.Wednesday 7th Hauled load of freight to Summit Lake for Hudson's Bay Company. Fine bright day.Thursday 8th Hauled load of freight for Hudson's Bay Company. Fine bright day.Friday 9th Stayed at home and shod horses and repaired wagon. J. Eavens [sic] arrived from Ft. George. Fine cool day.Saturday 10th Tacked shingles. Done some washing. Bought fur from Indians. Wet in morning. Fine afternoon.Sunday 11th Hauled 2 loads of freight to Thompson's ranch. Fine bright day.Monday 12th Hauled canoe and supplies to Summit Lake for surveyor, Burden. Fine day.Tuesday 13th Hauled load of flour for Hudson's Bay Company. Fine day.Wednesday 14th Hauled load of flour for Hudson's Bay Company. Fine day.Thursday 15th Hauled load to Summit Lake for Hudson's Bay Company. Fine warm day.Friday 16th Hauled large boat across portage for Hudson's Bay Company. Indians went down Crooked River with freight. Fine warm day.Saturday 17th Worked at home and hauled in oats. Hedges started up river for his winter hunt. Cloudy day. Monday July 26, 1915Took load across portage for H.B.C. Catispell came home with wan [?]. Very warm day.
