Growing Up In Peterborough: A Century of Stories

TRANSCRIPT

Clair: When I worked in the bank there were a lot of transfers, which I didn't particularly want. When I worked in the CG the work was good and the money was good but it wasn't exactly what I wanted. Teaching is somewhat of a rewarding experience in that you do get to work with children and to be helpful and I think that had a lot to do with it. Although the money wasn't great in teaching when I started. The first year I taught we made $3,300 and actually in the summer I made more money pitching than I did teaching.
