Interview with Holly Gonsalves of Puddicombe Farms - Holly Discusses The Wine Route and Competition Between Wineries

Well, I know a lot of people will say 'how do you deal with all the competition?' but 122 wineries in a forty mile span attracts the world, like we have a lot of visitors who come here because of the number of wineries there are. So, it's got its good points, and it's got its bad points, but... and most of the time, the smaller wineries in west Niagara work very closely together, like we do campaigns together and marketing things and all that. The bigger wineries down in Niagara-on-the-Lake of course are big wineries and they're doing things that are way too expensive for us to be involved in. So, it's not really that they are divided, it's just we do what we can do with the money we have.
