Interview with Lew Puddicombe and Holly Gonsalves of Puddicombe Farms - Lew and Holly Discusses the Future of the Family Farm

I'm going to have to say that in ten years it will be, maybe this farm will still be here. But I'm going to say that in twenty years time it definitely won't be here. It won't be because (HOLLY: it is really hard to say by how it is going ) They say that you should carry on farming but then next door, that farm is sold, houses are built, and you are going to get pushed right off the land anyways, so I'd say in twenty years time definitely. There won't be farming in the Hamilton region; there will be, in fact from what I see on number 8 Highway between here and Grimsby, there is not going to be much (farming) all the way down to Grimsby.
