Police are People Too!

TRANSCRIPT

'This picture is of a police constable trying to evict a porcupine, can you believe it, a porcupine from one of the buildings in downtown Sudbury. You know, they used to call us to do everything including evicting porcupines, none the less, they couldn't get a hold of anybody from the Humane Society, so we had to do the job, and it was late at night besides. It occured in July of 1951. It shows the constable with the long brush, I guess it's a brush, trying to get him out of the corner and pull him towards the opening of the door. I think it eventually worked.'
