Rediscovering the Norwegian Connection

Betty Wulff Interviews Paul Ritchie about Laft Hus beginnings

I think the biggest enjoyment of the Laft Hus not the Laft Hus today it was the starting and but the stripping of the logs and all those social things ..over by the Blindman River. Before the logs were brought here

BW: …work parties.

And going down to….cottage at Burnstick Lake….the birch that we got out there for the Laft Hus.

BW: flowers on a spruce tree….little pink flowers on the tips of all their branches.

A great social thing..

BW: The comeradery of everyone getting together.

Getting together was so… you didn't want to miss any….
