[registered nurse], there comes the delightful creature called the student nurse\u2026S.N.!<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 60px;padding-right: 60px;text-align: justify\"><em>Patients love them, R.N.s hate them, interns ignore them, doctors tolerate them, and everyone protects them.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right\"><em>Student nurse, Class of 1960<\/em><\/p>\n<p>From 1915-1975, over 1,250 young women came to the Women\u2019s College Hospital School of Nursing with the dream of becoming a nurse. For two to three years, these students trained, lived, and worked together.
