Our first generation pioneers are all gone, as are many of the second generation, but there are still a few that lived in the time between World War I and World War II. This is a snapshot of those early years know as the Roaring Twenties and the Dirty Thirties.
A brief history of how Mather started will set the stage for the boom and bust years in a small prairie town where when all is said and done, is a nice place in which to live.
