The focal point of the exhibit centres on 157 images taken by Okotoks resident Margaret Hole. During the war years, she would hurry to take candid photographs of local men and women before they were dispatched on military orders. The snapshots are preserved in two large wooden frames made by her husband, the shoemaker. In some cases, these are the very last pictures taken of some soldiers. All images are identified and in excellent condition.
