Even when he was a child, Homer Watson knew that he loved to draw and paint.

After the death of his oldest brother Jude, Homer became the man of the house. He dreamed of being an artist, but faced many challenges.

During those early years, he painted designs on buckets, sold art at local fairs and illustrated for agricultural catalogues.
