The International Bridge reopened in 1980 with a brand new customs facility now placed on the bridge complex. Orginally built in 1912, the bridge makes Fort Frances a gateway to Northwestern Ontario.

Finding your way was the challenge for the Scott Street Merchants as downtown revitalization saw the addition of interlocking brick and ornamental light standards.

Since 1905 the Lloyd family served the tourist, finally closing up shop with the retirement of Captain Bill Lloyd in 1985.

The Hallett

The log tug Hallett came to rest in 1987 after being placed at Pither's Point as a tourist attraction. In operation from 1941 to 1974 it was the largest tug on the lake.
