O.S. Moore
Known as Tilly, he was one of Olds most ardent supporters. He came with the Nebraska group in 1893 and homesteaded within walking distance of town, but soon purchased a store in town. Tilly was the one to coin the phrase "See Olds First".

According to the Winnipeg Free Press June 25th 1904:
"Moore & Hall
This firm carrying merchants occupy a large and extensive store in the main street, directly facing the C.P.R. depot occupying a frontage of 20 feet and a depth of 86 feet. This firm carries an extensive stock in dry gods, groceries, boots, and shoes etc. There is not the slightest doubt that the majority of trade within a thirty-five mile radius of Olds is done by this enterprising firm and possibly the immense stock they always carry has something to do with its popularity. On the first floor of the premises is a splendid showroom and a drug department, where the firm are continually making drugs and medicines of every description."
