The Albert Street Cemetery is on the site of an important Native settlement. Formerly known as the Inch-Bhui Cemetery, it was named after the ancient McNab burial ground, situated on the Dochart River in Scotland. Some of McNab's close friends are buried there, including Alexander McDonnel, his wife Janet, and Michael Roddy. In 1875, this cemetery was considered non-denominational, whereas it is now considered a Protestant cemetery.
