Skidaa kaw
The Skidaa kaw are also known as the Eggs of Skidao. They come from 7Ad7aiwaas.

The black bear is a prominent crest of this lineage. They received it when a chief stored his food in a shed in the forest. Black bears stole all of his food and he could not get it back. The new moon is another distinguished crest of the family.

Ida Smith, matriarch of the Sk'daa Kaaw was a great dancer and singer.

Elder Ida Smith loved to Haida dance and sing. She is still remembered for her beautiful Haida love song. Today there are two matriarchs of this small clan, Ida Smith's daughters Mary Grosse and Irene Pollard.

Chief Seegaay was once the chief of Old Massett. Many of the Skidaa kaw Raven men live in Masset while the younger descendants live across Canada.
