The Swordfish in action.

Thomas Leggetter was the navigator aboard the Swordfish. This first picture was taken while she was in action. You can view the tail of the Swordfish flying above the H.M.S. Eagle.

Shortly after this photo was taken by Mr. Leggetter, the ship went down. She was torpedoed in August of 1942 while Mr. Leggetter was on board. Though he swam in the Atlantic he was one of the survivors.
