The Memorial Rose Garden in its infancy. The garden was designed by Bernice Knight with landscaping done with the help of the Communities in Bloom Volunteers. Rose bushes are purchased in memory of a loved one and the name inscribed on a large board at the back of the garden.

The 'Legacy Garden' designed and planted in 2000 to commemorate the Cross Canada Relay and Millet's partnership on Communities in Bloom at the international level with Audley, England.The sign was done by Little Royal and installed by Public Works. The arbors were constructed by Rueben Oselies (Apple Drugstore owner). Landscaping was done by Communities in Bloom Volunteers.

This sign indicating the Alberta History of the Edmonton/Calgary CP Rail Line was realized through Alberta Lottery Funding. The sign sits next to the Railway Bed on Hwy 2A.
