A big hockey town - the team name, "The Revelstoke Runaways", needed to be explained to the Superintendent. Clancy explains how the name fits for this hockey team. The team first won the Coy Cup in 1948 and for the second time in the last decade. Can you imagine being involved with the same team for 32 years?

In the mountains of British Columbia the railway runs through national parks. Living in Field, Ed recalls feeding deer and living in poorly built company dwellings. You can almost feel the heat of the oven as Ed tells of warming his feet on cold mornings.
