The RCA Victor record manufacturing company, located in the Saint-Henri district of Montreal, was a well-known local institution up until the mid-1970s. Many independent record labels needed the services of this multinational in order to cut and press records and even for recording. The RCA Victor studio complex, with its superb acoustics, was forgotten for a number of years and the space used for industrial purposes. It was then rediscovered and has become an active concern, henceforth called Victor Studios.
