Judy Wilson
The tradition of strong leadership for the high school's girls' basketball teams continued when Judith Lowe Wilson took over coaching duties in 1958. Born in St. Stephen, Judy is the daughter of Arthur Lowe who was a member of provincial and maritime championship baseball teams of the 1930s. She married another St. Stephen baseball hero when she became Mrs. Harold Rodney Wilson. Judy's passion for sport included baseball, volleyball, track and field and softball. She has a special interest in basketball, however, having run clinics, camps and has refereed. It is her role as coach which, perhaps, has left the most impression on her hometown.
