The Mortuary Chapel was built in 1880 and is located in the then new Anglican Cemetery in Trinity. The chapel is in Gothic style with pointed arches and a vaulted ceiling - a beautiful miniature and one of the very few cemetery chapels remaining in the province. It was designated a Registered Heritage Structure by the Heritage Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador in 1999.

There are eight stained glass windows in the chapel, seven of which are memorials to the casualties of the First World War. The next group of pictures in the exhibit will show the viewer the full stain glass window and then two close up shots, one of the name of the person to whom the window is in memory of and the second the design on the window.
