Tractor hauling supplies to woods camp on Gull Pond Road.

Tractors with plows were used on many roads, clearing trails and delivering hay & oats to wood camps for the horses. The trips were made during Newfoundland's long winter months. The plow was also used to transport skiers and outdoorsmen to the Gull Pond Road area at a cost of 5 cents per person.

Dog teams were another method that loggers used to haul wood. This team is working behind Deer Lake in the Forebay area in the 1940s. The use of dogs to haul wood was very effective, considering the great weights they were required to pull.

The Private Railway Car was used quite frequently by senior Mill personnel to travel from Corner Brook to Curling and for quick travel across Newfoundland.
