Eagle Building Supply complex now occupies all of the east side of Reid Street, south of Carson Avenue. The Bank Service Station once stood where the Eagle parking lot is today.

There was a narrow lane which divided the Bank Service Station from a small bungalow owned by Chuck and Lizzie Beath. In the 1950's this house was rented to the Handor family.

Dorothy Thom's boarding house was next door. Then came Sarah McLean's house.

The Bohanon house followed which later belonged to Clarence and Flo Fuller. An apple orchard was between the Fuller house and the Wasylow home. This house was previously owned by the Haggerton's. At the bottom of the street was the Euring garden plot.

Where the Credit Union and it's parking lot was once a coffee shop owned and operated by Justin de Goutier. The coffee shop had counter service and a small dining room. It was later bought by the Ziebrait brothers. It was remodelled and a licensed dining room known as The Birch Room was added.

The Bus Depot came next and it was joined with the coffee shop with a connecting door. This was so the bus passengers didn't have to go outside in the cold weather. Taxis were also dispatched from this location.

Next to the Bus Depot was the parking lot for the Quesnel Hotel which was located on Front Street.
