Copper Cliff at War

 

 

World War I

This storyline examines Copper Cliff's contributions to the war effort during the First World War (1914-1918), both through the local mining industry and through the Town's residents either as soldiers, or as volunteers on the home front.

Included are the stories of the following Copper Cliff soldiers: Leonard Thomas, Edward G. Bell, Sydney Rhodes, Jack Follansbee, Thomas Burns, Charles and Frederick Heale, and Robert Bell.
