The old court house in Wolseley is the oldest Court House in Saskatchewan in continuous use. Built between 1893 and 1895, it was then the court house of the North West Territories. It is of brick construction. The stone basement contained 2 cells for prisoners, a spare room, furnace room, fuel room, mess room and 2 bedrooms. Upstairs was the court room, a room each for the judge, jury, sheriff and clerks. There were iron rings set in the cement walls to which the prisoners were chained. It was used as a court house until 1909 when the court house was moved to Moosomin.
