'Came to Belleville, and I had lost the address of my uncle, you know, somehow. And I couldn't speak any English. So the station master in Belleville said 'Why don't you lay down on the bench and have a snooze?' He says, 'You look tired.' So anyway he said, 'I'll see what I can find.' So anyway he phoned around. But then I went to sleep, and I woke up one time and the whole waiting room was full of people. [laughter] But then I slept in again and, oh, a few hours I guess. And then my aunt and uncle were there and he must have got in touch with them. They picked me up. And they lived in Cressy at the time.'
