Interview of N. Kaplan by C. McChesney Sept 5, 1983
C. McChesney: You said that there was a very great number of Jewish families in the area. What was the greatest number?
N. Kaplan: The largest number of Jewish families we had was 127.
C. McChesney: Where were the services held before the Synagogue?
N. Kaplan: We held service in Kirkland Lake at the Lyric Theatre - and before that well we had to travel to Englehart.
C. McChesney: I understand that the synagogue is now closed down partly because the population has decreased?
N. Kaplan: It's sold it's sold to a local person in town because maybe not, how do I would say, what, five families were there.
