TRANSCRIPT

When I attended CMI, there were organized trips to Europe. I had the chance to go to France with a group. I think that was the second or third time a trip to Europe was organized; there had already been a couple of others to Greece and Spain. The idea for these trips came from Mr. Saint-Onge. The geography teacher, Mrs. Marie-Paule Trudel, was also responsible. A group of teachers accompanied groups of about thirty students. These teachers were interested in having us discover all kinds of things, they were really enthusiastic. We felt it because the trip was very well-planned. Our days were scheduled from start to finish, but there was free time between activities. We visited a large number of churches and castles. By the third week we were a little tired, but this didn't matter because there was so much to see and learn. I believe we would never have had such an experience without the commitment of the teachers.
