TRANSCRIPT

The Ursulines have taught in Trois-Rivières for over three hundred years. Their mission is to 'educate the whole person' by fostering the development of the intellectual, physical, emotional and social endowments of each student in a Christian context. The sisters endeavor to achieve this goal by developing aptitudes, imparting academic knowledge and, most importantly, instilling the values preached by their foundress, Saint Angela Merici. These values remain timely.They consist of attending to the needs of each individual in an atmosphere of unity, openness and respect. Mutual love was the foundation of Saint Angela's spiritual and educational ideas.
