M - Greenbank was completely blocked off for a week.

I - Really, with snow?

M - Yes, with snow. It was as high as up to, it could toch the wires...the telephone wires. And I decided after Monday, I couldn't go to school till Tuesday. I got a pair of skis and a friend of mine, Rod Foster and I, we skied to school and we couldn't get home until Saturday, until they got the roads opened, but we stayed with friends in Port Perry.

I - Wow, wow, that must have been a long ski!

M - It was. It was the only time I ever skied. (laughter) I never had skis on before or after. I don't even know where I got the skis!
