EdJ: The dogs were the main thing, the big event, still is, especially in those days. When we were growing up, I told kids who my Dad was, eh? They'd be playing. One guy would be running with a toboggan saying, "I'm Ernest Jebb!" And another'd say, "Joe Highway!"
KH: That's great! They'd race each other.
EdJ: In the '50s growing up, kids would tell us, from Brochet or Moose Lake-you know, these were their heroes.
