Acknowledgements:
   The Soo Line Historical
Museum would like to
acknowledge all the former
staff of the Weyburn Mental
Hospital for their caring and
dedication in the field of
mental illness. We would also
like to acknowledge all the
former patients for their

spirit and strength in the
face of adversity. As it
stands today, the fate of the
former Mental Hospital is
slated for demolition. We
hope that we have given you a
glimpse into the early years
of such a pivotal hospital in
Saskatchewan, and that you
come away with an

appreciation for all the hard
work of the various staff and
departments at the facility.
Due to the enormity of the
staff that worked there, we
are unable to mention all
departments and employees.

information with us, and to
