create this virtual exhibit,
while continuing the purpose
of the original exhibit.

The members of this volunteer
group researched,
interviewed, and contacted

members of the public to have
items loaned for the
Auxiliary's "Women of
Kirkland Lake" exhibit. A
large portion of this virtual
exhibit is based on their
initial research and artifact
gathering. It was a large
undertaking that required
months of organization and

hard work to create the
"Women of Kirkland Lake"
exhibit at the Museum.
   The majority of the
materials used for this
exhibit were originally
collected by the Auxiliary
Volunteers from individuals,
families, and groups in the
Kirkland Lake community. As
