Currie
   The French Block was an
"apartment" building that
existed from 1920 to 1956 on
South Street in the coal
mining and fishing town of
Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. This
exhibit is the story of six
families, living in their

four-room apartments, who
became a tight-knit
community.
