   Acknowledgements:
   This exhibit was made
possible through the
assistance of several people
and institutions. Of
particular importance were
the Provincial Archives and
the collections of the
Grandin (Oblate) Archives in
Edmonton. Staff associated

with these archival
collections assisted with
research and provided
photographs for the exhibit.
   The rich resources of the
archival collections in the
Peace River Museum and
Archives/Mackenzie Centre
provided the vast majority of
the photographs for this

exhibit. This is an important
regional archival collection
of photographs which started
in 1967. Currently (2008)
there are over 10,000
photographs of the Peace
River region in this
collection.
   Production assistance
came from Beth Wilkins

(research information and
photographs), Peter Wood
(scanning and cropping
images) and Sara Wood
(scanning and editing
content). Important
contributions were also
provided by Laura Gloor and
Wendy Dyck at the Peace River
Museum and Archives/Mackenzie
