Tryphenia Misener (1867 - 1959), Nicholas' eldest child. She marries twice in her life. First, she weds John Taylor. Together, they have three children: William Sanford, Maxwell and Mary. Then Tryphenia marries Peter Stenabaugh.

Walter Misener's family. Walter Misener (1838 - 1897) is the son of Conrad and Elizabeth Misener. He worked as a lumberer, as a militia man, and a farmer. He and his wife Deborah Jane Sager have twelve children together. They are: Alexander, Sarah Elizabeth, William Dustan, Newton, Frederick, Clarence, Dennis, Wallace, Orden, Daisy Pearl, Winford, and Goldwin.

As of 1871, Walter is tenant of the lot 6 on Concession 3 in Beverly with 136 acres. 100 acres are for cultures, 10 for pastures, 2 for garden, 20 for cereals. He produces wheat, barley, hary, grass, peas, apples and butter. He owns four horses, two colts, two cows, five horned cattle, seventeen swine, four wagons, three ploughs, one mower, one horses rake, and one fanning mill. Under his roof live Alexander (11), Sarah (11), Dustan (8), George Charles (6), Frederick (4), all at school, as well as Clarence (3), Lilian (1), and a servant Adam (20).

George and Ester Misener, with their children. George Misener is the son of Conrad Misener, and would have grown up in the house. He marries Ester in 1870. By 1881, his 5 children are born. The children in order of birth are: Olive, Huber, Lilian, Austin, and Carman.
