Kimiko Nasu's pattern books cover a full range of garments and their elements, with all sorts of sleeves, collars, dresses, skirts and kimono patterns, not to mention jackets, coats, robes, pants and pyjamas. From the start -- learning to measure 'my size' -- Mrs. Seto's course, like the many classes offered by other Japanese Canadian dressmakers and dressmaking schools, provided a base for learning to design, draft and sew any pattern that a dressmaker might desire.
