Emma Lake Artists' Workshop holds the reputation of being a large concentration of artistic activity. It has become a model for other artists' retreats: Banff Centre for the Arts; The Triangle Workshop in Barcelona, Spain; New York State, U.S.A.

Saskatchewan has reached its' Centennial year in 2005 and art that is being made on the prairies is vibrant, strong, and rooted in its' history. Emma Lake Artists' Workshops are known around the world, but the experience of painting/drawing/sculpting at a workshop is especially cherished by Saskatchewan artists.
