Many people came to see Wynona's retrospective exhibition and to re-unite with their former teacher. Her paintings definitely stir the soul of anyone who has come to know the prairies, but she has also touched many lives as an educator.

In 2005, Wynona donated 97 of her works of art to the Art Gallery of Prince Albert's Permanent Collection.

The landscape paintings of Wynona Mulcaster have remained strong expressions of the prairie from the 1930s to her most recent work. The time she spent at Emma Lake Kenderdine Campus was both as an artist and teacher. She carries many stories about the summers spent at Emma Lake and about the artists that make up the province.
