This photo of Number 1430 entering the Prince George Roundhouse (now demolished) shows the river flats and the buildings on pilings in the background. The background proves that the train station was built on a flood plain and was very vulnerable to flods befor the road and dyke were built. Also note the black dog to the right. Even pets could be found in the railroad yard.
