THE BEAMSVILLE PRESERVING COMPANY

Another local factory operated by Ernest D'Israeli Smith was the Beamsville Preserving Company, incorporated in 1906. He was President of the factory until it was consolidated along with many other local canneries into the Canadian Canners on February 26, 1924. Listed as Secretary and Treasurer, E. A. Armstrong also managed the plant.
